exhaust question

Okay my cousin just bought a 06 STi its silver btw he wanted to put a exhaust system on it to give it a little more noise.

Now he wanted to try and keep his factory warranty as much as possible.
1st question: do they make a axel back systems??
2nd question: which is the best/loudest sounding system??

Thanks guys!!

Yes alot of exhaust manufactures make axel backs, and for your second question there can be many, many answers. It's up to driver to pick what he really likes. For me I love my blitz nurspec, it is a tad loud but I love it.

Yeah, the Blitz is probably as loud as Axelbacks come except for the TurboXS RFL. The TurboXS SS Axleback Exhaust might be a good one for him.

Just take off the exhaust. I dont know what subaru exhaust's look like but i would say unbolt it, theremay be a part you can take apart. It will be loud and then you dont have to pay the money for new peice and whenever its time for trip to dealer bolt it back up.

If he gets a catback it shouldn't void his warranty. If he wants loud, tell him to go with the kakimoto-ti or jic bullet ti. Both systems are near or above $1,000.

I should of mentioned I have the cat back, the Nurspec axel back costs just as much. They do however sell a touring edition, looks reeeeeeeeeal nice and costs more then my catback. Prodrive has a nice axel back as well, dont know how it sounds though.
