Dont go to Krazy house customs

This place is a joke. Don't be fooled by the nice shop. They have horrible customer service once they get your money, very high prices and really crappy service. I had my car tunes there and they blew it up. After searching the web very good you can see this is not the 1st time. Many different sites and forums about there bad service and blowing up of cars. They don't take any reasponsibilty for there actions or try to help at all. But they still want you to pay for the full tune over $500 even if it never got done and your car is now undrivable. Anyone who sticks up for them has never had this happen. But if your the customer and this happens to you and you have to pay them over $500 and then a bunch of money to fix it. Just to be able to drive it like you did when you took it there would understand. The owner is the worst. These people have never heard of word of mouth. Treat your customer right and they will tell everyone. Treat them bad they will tell eveyone and then some. I am not the only one do your own research. Just type in krazy house custom reviews and check them all.

There's always 3 sides to the story. What were the circumstances? Cars can blow up during a tune...it could be the tuner's fault, it could be a poorly prepped/maintained car, it could be a mechanical failure, etc. Just because it blew up doesn't automatically make it their issue.

More info needs to be explained. There is a proper way of going about this.

Huge lack of detail here but not the first time I've heard of this happening at that shop...

They blew up my friends brand new msp6 going back 4 or so years and made him pay them to install a brand new motor.

I’m surprised this guy/girl isn’t banned yet. Or is the user actually contributing to this forum that I’m unaware of?

They haven't. All they have done is bashed them in every thread about KHK.

No it is someone who formed an account to flame an ex TST vendor and who you seem to not give a crap about. Thanks for that btw. I think it is pretty obvious to anyone what is going on.

Ok so here we go, can't believe I didn't hear about this until today but whatever. Being as though this guy took us to court and lost while making the judge pissed off I won't hold back. This car was and is a POS and was not in any condition to be tuned, which we explained to him but he wanted to do it anyway. The car was driving on unscaled injectors before it arrived. I loaded a basemap and put it on the dyno, first run 3rd gear 17psi and a perfect AFR of 11.5 on low timing smoke was everywhere, first time car hit boost. THE EBAY TURBO WAS BLOWN. Guy does not know crap about cars and blames us.. Fixes the turbo and comes back for a tune, we decline to tune the car because of the HAPHAZARD WORK anddid not want the liability. The guy gets pissed, starts yelling and storms off saying he is gonna ruin our reputation, then tries to take us to court and loses.. Thank you tristate tuners for leaving this here for the world to see, the least you could have done was told us..

Don't mean to thread jack but, that's not entirely true. Piss poor tunes were the cause. (Base AP tunes and people doing boltons with no Tune or HP Fuel pump) I properly tuned MS3/6 makes great & reliable power. Back in 2008 very little was know about load based tuning and the MZR platform.

That being said I don't blame this on the tuner at all. I believe in 2008 Cobb hadn't unlocked the full ECU and most people were running StandBack or base AP Maps. The MZR platform was still in its infancy and it was pretty much a tune and mod at your own risk. Unfortunately the owner learned that lesson the hard way, SH#& happens during dyno sessions. For all we know the car could have already had a bent rod when coming in that day. ( I would be pissed if my car blew up, but sometimes that's the nature of the game. )

I NOW RETURN YOU TO YOUR REGULARLY SCHEDULED BITCH FEST>>>

I wouldn't worry about it Pete. No one took this assclown serious to begin with. Your reputation speaks for itself.

^ yeah, I certainly don't take random people who don't post up personal information and just trying to bash a shop for their experience seriously.

Especially without the shop responding to shed light on the issue.

9 out of 10 times it's a ratty car bouncing from shop to shop.

I have never tuned any ms6's that blew up on our dyno but thanks for sharing. I know have have tuned multiple ms3's and 6's and had great results without issue..You may be referring to someone running a car on our dyno with mechanical issues and cobb canned or someone elses custom tune. I believe this was the case you are referring to when the fuel pump modifications were in the early stages and reliability was a definite issue. If a car blew up on my watch I would know about it.
