So are you ready to change?

So with the Gas prices the way they are now and where they will be in a few months, are you ready/looking for a different way of transportation? I was thinking of getting a scooter for the around the neighborhood and maybe to and from work. what about you guys? doing much driving?

I was going to get another 'toy' when I graduate college .. Now I'm prolly gonna buy something that gets better gas mileage, has more cargo space, and has more than two doors. Bleh.

But really, I don't mind. As long as I have at least one fun car in my possession that I can romp on every now and then, I can deal with driving something more intelligent on a daily basis.

I'm just going to try and do more business at work, regardless of the price of gas. My car already gets 30+ so I could really care less, even if it goes up to 5 a gallon, I fill up once a week, an extra $20 a week is not going to make or break my bank account.

Gonna throw a set of rims on it, too?!

No, seriously, I cringe every time I'm at the pump.

And as far as my truck goes i only drive that when i need to haul things otherwise it stays parked... i think i put maybe 2k on it last year lol

For the amount ppl will spend on a street bike to daily commute, Or another ''gas friendly'' car + gas and insurance on top of either or, They can easily just spend that money on the extra fuel prices over the next few years...... I never did understand why people do that.

If you have a modified car, You need to ''pay to play'', And fuel is just one of those costs. Buy race fuel for awhile, At $2x.xx a gallon, Then go buy 93 octane and you'll never think twice about paying for premium fuel at the pump. It's better to not even look at the price of fuel, Rather so just pay for it being you need it anyways.

I just filled up 10 gallons of fuel today and it cost me $40...thats a little more than half of what my car can take. But you have to treat it as a necessity or else your not getting anywhere. Its only gonna get worse. There is no need to overprice gas either

This. It's going to cost you more in the long run. Not worth it.
