370z or Mustang 5.0?

Trying to decide between the two right now. The Mustang has the edge in power while the 370 has a small edge in handling. What do you guys think? I'm very torn.

As much as I HATE mustangs and LOVE the 370z...I would say go with the 5.0.

Ford really did this car right.

Have you test driven a new 5.0? They are quite nimble for a heavy american car.

Friend just got the new 5.0 last week, it's killer. However the 370 is one of my favorite cars so I vote that!

At the end of the day it is one classic heritage car vs. another classic heritage car. Naturally, being a Nissan and a Z guy, I would suggest the Z34, but not knowing enough about the new 5.0s, I really can't give my opinion.

I drove and liked both. PROs of the 370Z were looks and the interior was really nice. CONs were too much electronic controls. It felt like cheating to drive it. Mustang will outdo the 370Z in just about every catigory and in the long run will be much cheaper to maintain since Mustangs are a dime a dozen.

I'd buy both but if I lean towards Mustang for the back seats(as small as they are you will miss having them in the 370).

Wasn't there just another thread about this?

I would say 5.0. Power potential out of the box is just stupid silly.

the 2011 mustang 5.0 is THE CAR to be buying new right now unless you need AWD or a 4 door, or have more than 40k to spend... or you just don't like the car

I really never liked Mustangs, but the new 5.0 is really nice and gets my vote. Can't go wrong with a V8 that can turn.

The new 5.0 hands down. Just read a article in the fast ford and mustang magazine and kennebell and tons of other companys are coming out with products for them. They are laying down good numbers for stock motors also!

If it was me, Id have to go with the Mustang. I love the Z, but i just find myself wanting more from it. And the mustang doesnt handle badly at all. I hear the new one is actually very composed.

I totally respect and dig the new 5.0L but I LOVE the 370Z. It could be a worse car and I'd still be drawn to it for some reason.

370. Everyone has Mustangs. I respect the new 5.0, but I wouldn't be caught dead owning it.

They basically covered all the bases. 5.0 all the way. I'm biased though.

Definitely a 5.0; so much power and the mods are endless. Heck, the V6 with a tune will give a lot of other V8's a run
