Rebuilding 06 Evo SE

My buddy recently got into an accident with his evo and we're (I'm) in the process of rebuilding it at work. Long story short the car should have been totaled but my boss has a way with insurance adjusters to keep it under a total loss. Basically we have a $18,000 insurance check to work with, and with myself doing a lot of free labor and my friend helping out, there is a lot of money to play with and mod accordingly. Anyway onto the pictures.

When it got dropped off

After a mild pull on the drivers side frame rail, i drilled the rad support out.

New oem mitsubishi rad support mocked in place and edged

I drilled and cut the quarter panel off since it was more cost effective to just replace it.

I put 2 new fenders on it and one new headlight, here they are for a test fit.

Rad support is now welded in, and just a teaser of one of the "free" parts that were bought.

More updates to come, I just need to remember to bring my camera to work with me.

well its not exactly a monster pile of money to play with. I'm helping increase the "play" money by doing free labor on some of the body work/paint time. Like his intercooler for instance, State Farm paid $600 for a stock one, so that ams one cost a few hundred bucks out of pocket. And parts for this car are retarded expensive.. My shop cost on oem mitsubishi parts are good but still outrageous.. like two fenders and a front bumper = $1253.00 That's shop cost not retail. And as for plans, He wants to do a fp red with supporting mods, 272s, different wheels (his are curbed beyond belief) and a few other little doo dads. The FP might not happen but if the funds will allow it'll be sweet. I'm trying to talk him into a wastegate dump, even if its still internal.. just a dump in general sounds nasty.

Hey, i'm the owner of the car (on my friends username/account). No this is not the same car. I was there, but I didn't crash.

TalonTsi97,
There are a few more little odds and ends that I need, would you mind giving me the guys number with the '06 MR SE?

Awesome plans. Might I suggest a Holest HX35 instead of a FP RED? Mad HP/TQ from a setup like that.

An fp red is a stock frame and bolt-on turbo with the potential to produce over 430awhp with the stock cams, head and bottom end...
