You really are going to regret selling your Z to get a cobalt. I hate to hear of someone selling such a fun cool car for an eyesore.
I saw someone say it's not bad looking for cars in it's price range/class. Who cares? Would you date a fat chick just because she is slightly skinnier then all the other fat chicks? If you really must sell it then get a 370z. Now that is a car to drool over. Never wanted a Z car til the new one came out. ****ing sexy! |

I was in a similiar boat...nothing really wrong with my car though. Just wanted to upgrade to something newer. I like the cobalt.....and for the price...can't beat it.
PS: to the guy that called you a idiot.......this is HIS thread about him wanting to buy a cobalt. I think Alot of cars are hideous, I am not going to stop in traffic and yell to the person there car is ugly or slow or could have gotten something better for the price.

Consider wingless on whatever one you end up getting. I really like Nicks alot. Try to work something out with him!

wingless is definately a consideration. the wing makes the rear bumper look even larger than it is and its already effin huge.

whatever mod's you get, LOWER IT FIRST, the wheel gap on the stock ss/sc is insaneeeee...i had b & g springs on my car, were super low with minimal bounce.
also check out cobaltss.net...everything you need to know and find out about. Also alot of really good vendors for stuff on there |

I didn't realize my son's SS/SC (black with the 80k) ended up in this post. I originally purchased the black car to commute to Philadelphia from Adamstown. We paid the car off and gave it to him but he had to make payments to us for the balance of the payoff.
All of the mileage is higway. A couple of corrections as everything installed on the car was done by me. The CAI is an XTC 3". The wheels are 18x7.5 ASA J8s. I put the Exedy Hyper Single clutch in. Last week I pulled the trans to install a new clutch actuator. It is a nice car and mechanically sound. However, I don't believe he ready to sell the car just yet. I purchased the black SS/SC after driving the EVO, STI, and the new GTI. The cobalt made me smile. I enjoy driving and listening to the whine so much so that I purchased another for myself (pictured below). Take your time and look around before purchasing one of these but definately make sure you get at least the LSD MU3 trans.
