I'm not saying your profiting off of this at all, if that's the way it sounded at first, I apologize, but all I'm saying is it's funny how many more people have weaseled out of the woodwork to claim a piece of this car, I know for a fact many that started this project are getting fed up with people trying to use a piece of what they built to better themselves, now let me follow that by saying, I'm not specifically saying you, just in general

I just think it's tasteless to not have approached the people who have a web blog that features this car and worke on the car, it just seems like your riding someones coat tails for your own benefit, you should have gone through different channels for this not just emailing his parents and them having no idea your stepping on peoples toes. I get that his parents are nice and will say yes to anything but you went about this all wrong and now make it seem like the foundation is an elitist group.

i can see where you guys are coming from. morla maby you can supply something to show who you are and that you were affiliated.

I see this as a good idea. but i can see where you guys are coming at that people are coming out of nowhere and trying to be apart of something now that its blown up and its popular.

I'm admitting to the fact that I didn't help build the car. I know I didn't. I wish I could have but when drew passed away I was only 14 so I didn't know how to help when I was that young with no car and no experience in anything that would be helpful. But when i saw my family members and breaking down in tears it really hit me. I've seen the car way before where it is now and I've always been attracted to it because it's a good looking car. I had no idea how rare it was until I turned 16 when I was starting to really get into cars and get to know everything about them. I still wanted to help by then but I wasn't sure how still. I had this idea to do a blog about cars because I've always wanted to anyway. Then after the show and the volunteer picnic I had another idea to make it beneficial to something. When I talked to rich and suzanne and when they said they liked it I wanted to get started right away. I mow I should have asked other people first but I honestly didn't think it would that big of deal because it's all for a good cause anyway

I completely understand where your coming from, but if you were that concerned over the years of how to help there was always a simple solution, open your mouth and ask, do you really think only one person built this car and took it upon himself to promote the benefit, or the shows, or all the other appearances the car has been at, no, everyone that was involved with getting this car as popular as it has become as of late simply asked what they could do to help, that's all it takes, just ask brother, it's that simple

I don't know what the cause is about. I didn't take the time out of my day yet to look into it.

I'm willing to put one of our shop cars in for the cause.

At the end of the day, AS LONG AS I AM DOING SOMETHING GOOD FOR A CAUSE, THAT'S WHAT COUNT'S.

If this is just a ploy it will eventually be seen as such and you should and will be shunned by everyone with just cause. You will also deserve every negative thing that happens and comes your way.

I hope that's not the case but that's how sh#+ usually goes down.

Pm me and I'll look into it further.

I see where you're coming from and what everyone else is saying about jumping on something that is big all of a sudden. If the original guys who worked on it want me to take down the site, I will have no problem doing that.

Somebody mentioned that I was trying to boost my own photography or something like that. I, by no means am trying to boast myself in anyway. I already have a photography career and don't need to show off anything.

Now that I think about it more though. This is just going to get deleted. There's no point in trying to help out publicly if people are going to shoot down any idea of helping out a charity. It's pretty selfish of people to come in here and start saying no I did some work. I was there from the beginning. I know all the in's and out's of this car. I blah blah blah

I'll just continue doing my part in small ways

If you can show me where anyone said I anywhere, it would be greatly appreciated, because I know for a fact I never said that, and no one ever once said you can't help in anyway, all were saying is that it's kinda odd you show up from left field promoting a car and a site and nobody affiliated with 4udrew(sans drees parents) really know too much about you or who you are really, that's the only problem we've had from the beginning, it just seems that you're trying to incorporate yourself with a very popular car, cause and scene that you never had a part of all along, just odd, that's all, if you wanna do the site, I would recommend contacting the site admin of 4udrew or even stunnrstatus.com because I know those guys had quite a bit to do with where the car is today, I'm not telling you to take down your site or anything line that, just do the proper research and go through the proper channels to launch your site and make it into what you want it, instead of popping up out of the blue with no rhyme or reason as to what your starting

On a side note, who makes a car submitting drew approved anyway, is it you? Or do you have a cast of judges?

And finally, if you were going to make your site legit, u would recommend a little more thought into the descriptions of what I assume us your car, it looks like your taking it far too lightly with descriptions of your car consisting of blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah

Because there is already a web blog that features this car and it's progress, nobody is saying he can't help but the fact that nobody really knows who he is and this came out of nowhere, all I am saying is he probably should have contacted the people who run that blog, shoot the car, work on the car, transport the car etc.. It's great he wants to help I support that but I think he should have went about it differently if he can contact his parents he clearly can get contact info about how to help, I'm just saying it's clearly stated where the car will be so getting ahold of people to help even if it's cleaning the car at a show wouldn't be hard. My point is nobody knows who this kid is and then he starts a web blog using the car and the foundation it's just weird that it came out of nowhere, I have no problem with people wanting to help I think that's great but this all came out of nowhere and will make the foundation look like an elitist blog and certain people don't want it to look like that.

That was just a mock post to show drew's parents what it would look like. Its not real it was just an example. They forwarded it everyone else and I didn't get anything negative back.

Then why is it online and why are you promoting it if it's still a mock, most people finish things before they publish them

Who are you, what do you know of the cause or anything, you know nothing, I was simply saying he should go through the proper channels first, you need to go back and re read what I said and realize that I never told him to stop anything I said he should do things the proper way that's all champ, but thanks for the input

You are putting a damper on the mans plans to try and help out his relatives. 1/3 of the posts in here are you bitching about how he wasnt one of the origional volunteers or how he is taking away from the origional foundation, if drews parents okayed the idea and all the money is going to his cause what does it matter? You think just because you didnt come out and say dont do this it has no repercussions? You and your negativity is most likely the reason why he wants the thread closed and the reason it wont get the esposure it needs on the website. Good job boss, thanks for the input.

From a neutral standpoint bigslowchevy you should just stop posting in this thread cause with the utmost respect whether you are right or wrong it makes the foundation look bad for you to argue like this. I do not know either of you and I am not siding with Morla when I say this. I am not part of the orginization in any way but people are gonna see this thread and think badly of this orginization.
