it's a honda, he should be very happy with 300lbs of torque.

true. not saying that its not good, I just wish that honda engines put out some more of it

That turbo isn't even working at 13 psi.
Nice numbers though.

Yeah that turbo likes to see over 20+ why not run a smaller turbo with more boost???
CHR!S

probably due to the stock internals, otherwise he would be running much more boost on that turbo
numbers sound promising jon

But with that said, where is it hitting your full boost of 13psi....

Anything that carries a lot of torque past 5200rpms will make a lot more horsepower than torque. Considering the car is probably not even hitting full boost till about 5500 you can understand why.

yeah, dont get me wrong though, 295 is a good amount of torque lol.

More than likely plenty to blow the tires off on a 3rd gear roll, heh. Torque on such a lightweight car is a bit of a bitch to be honest.

absolutely correct, sometimes people with motors that redline at 5500rpm forget this....
Not to mention when a Turbo is still spooling past the 5252 crossover, you definately wont have a mountain of torque, nor is torque even necessary in a 2500lb FWD car that revs to 8k+ rpm.

I love the T67ho, it does not really start to wake up until around 20psi...... FYI I picked up 85whp and 55tq going from 20psi to 23psi with this turbo, and I am shooting for 800 on Evans's dyno later this year with this turbo, but in a T4 1.15 divided configuration.

I know, this is the last turbo I will need to buy for this car. It hasn't ran in four years and I wanted to show customers that you can still go fast by keeping things simple. Torture testing a stock block first, then maybe throwing in a sleeved block.
Yeah that turbo likes to see over 20+ why not run a smaller turbo with more boost???
Because I like way it hits. Because I will never outgrow this turbo. Because I don't need a ton of torque from even more boost at lower r's to have more wheelspin on street tires. I don't like running drag radials on the street anyway. The soft sidewalls are **** for cornering and they don't do much for grip unless you actually sit there and heat them up. The powerband is for dragracing - with slicks.

Exactly

As do you
I had more wheelspin with my old LS turbo 320whp 300 tq. than I do with this setup.
I've got a set of 24.5x8x13 slicks so I will update with track times when I get down there.

I bet the LS did spin harder, what was the turbo on that setup?
Care to share the dyno sheet?

Took the car to Island Dragway last night. Bolted up the slicks, first pass 11.6 at 123 1.7 60 ft. Next pass 11.5 at 123 1.7 60 ft. Last pass 11.6 at 123 1.7 60 ft. Put the street tires back on and drove home.
