well set it up for 10ish, DD, and make sure alot of people are going. Make sure you highly stress that they will only have to spend $20, but if they have a really active PP then they might want to bring $20-40 extra for some lap dance game.

its not a boost leak liek momen had...lol i bought this tester from adv auto and put soapy water on all likely places..only one coupler was leaking but none of my vac lines had zip ties on them n almost all of them had lil leaks so i zip tied em up and no leaks now..still running the same boost just not over working the turbo to get there

my 13.600 @ 105 was with a 2.4 60 foot. THAT IS A HORRIBLE 60 FOOT!
with drag radials i ended up pulling a 2.0 60 foot, and i ran a 13.7 @ 97, with the charge pipe blowing off when i shifted into 4th gear.
since you are a big bench racer, YOU know that one tenths off your 60 foot = 2 tenths up top.

learn from me: once your tuned, dont EVER touch your boost controller.

now, when you want to go back to your normal tuned 16 pounds, you never will get it perfect (unless you have a EBC, but i dont think you do)

i turned up my boost in my hatch, but when i turned it back down it felt like moist dog crap in sunday morning dew.

son...i got the car at 10lbs.. so i didnt turn it down and it runs fine on any setting i put it on..when i got to 16 then back to 10 it feels the same as it did when i first got it on 10..and it never goes below 10.3 or above 10.9 so its kinda rich but def not gonna flood, ur problem was u were tuned for a lower boost and ran it higher and NEVER turned it back down...im tuned for a higher boost and i run lower boost usually but nothing ever over the tuned boost setting

we dont blow rear diffs :P


it kind of goes hand in hand i guess. you can break axles on stock tires too.
the reason they so many people snap axles with sticky tires is because they just drop the clutch.

i launched my car with 15 inch drags at 5500RPMS (my redline is 7K) and i had no problems.
i even launched it at 6k once, didnt snap. just gotta be careful with the clutch.

i dont think he will, his first time out he wont run good times on DR's, i know i didnt. its a whole different car with sticky tires. it takes a while to get used to launching them. once you start getting the hang of launching them, you try and push the limits, and thats when they break.

***the story*** of how i wrecked my 06 sti

so im driving home last wends nigth

it was raining off and on most of the night
i was on 95 driving toward philly/princeton/ toward my house
i was right before the rt.1 exit and they just paved this whole area
so it was really smooth, and also formed puddles real easy.
im driving (the speed limit) light throttle, not f(_)CKing around at all, and i drove into one of the puttles of rain, and the rear of the car ( baldish tires) hydroplanes and turns me almost 180 so the rear of the car is facing the front and im still going full speed, but its aimed for the side of the road with a forest full of trees, i hit a large tree at 70, the car rotates around after hitting the firt tree, and goes forward( ripping trees and bushes as it goes) for about 40 feet, i stop , get out with nothing but some small scratches and alittle blood on my head.

so i cant find my cellphone, and no one is on the road, it took my 20 mins to find my flashlight, and then i see a wrecker, and i flash him down and hes some random repo guy. so i make a deal with him to get it home.
i go back to the spot as soon as i get home ( using the sh!tty beater sable) and pick up all the pieces and my not book with all my hw ( ruined), and my lic. plate (folded). while picking up all these pieces i came in contact with soem poison ivy( SUCKS).
insurence is comign out sometime this week.
yes i had full coverage, no i cant really give you parts of the car, unless you want a pieice of random bumper plastic, or wing piece.
im planing on trying to get another one, not sure how long, or how much its gonna take, but im gonna do it.

after walkin away from what almost everyone said " your lucky to be alive "
i want a safe car if im gonna be going fast, and i think subaru has got me hooked

also i want to note that this car was modded for RWD and had bald rear tires, if both of these were fixed to the norm awd and non bald tires, this wouldnt have happened, so this isnt the cars fault, it was mine.

if you wanna see pictures, dont be affraid to ask me in person, at this time im not really into posting them up, because i dotn want them saved. .

damn dude glad you're ok... the tires are your fault but a rwd conversion would not have had an effect on this accident unless you were full throttle... or unless you changed the way the diffs react off the throttle but i highly doubt that. its just a case of hydroplaning in the rain... it can happen on tires that have decent tread but yeah its a lot more dangerous on more bald tires.
again, glad you got off so lucky yourself and that you're not giving up on the suby world.

yea the tires werent too bad, they were gettin there i guess. . . they were falken azenis 615, they are amazin tires in the dry, but alittle tricky in the rain
i unplugged the dccd so its like 9% rear, but when off throttle it drives norm

the stretch of highway just got repaved and it was very smooth compared to norm highway, i am not the 1st or only one to get in an accident on this stretch since its been repaved

yea it was unplugged, its like 10% front 90% rear, but thats only "ON" throttle
off throttle it doesnt matter ( justlike any car)
just like our cars are only awd when your giving it gas ( on throttle)
