I was wondering for as to the b series.. the type r and b16 are short gears... for the d16 what is like that as the shortest gearing you can get for a d series tranny

if youre refering to hyrdo trannies...d16z6/d16y8 trannies. theyre similar to an ls trans

as said, id only look for a z6/y8. its a night and day difference, even stock. :)

just an FYI the y8 shifter forks are much stronger as they are steel unlike aluminum z6 forks.
get a y8 then a shorter final drive :)

I don't have any experience but from what I had heard it was a little better/safer to us the trans with the aluminum forks since they will bend where as the steel ones will break taking the rest of the trans with them when they go...

i had a z6 trans and slammed the hell out of it, it loved it, begged for more, and made me fist its butthole(refer to the GB)
