Much thanks to Chad Block of cbrdspeedfactory and Ray from TurboTek tuning for finally getting my STi tuned and making the power I knew it always could. One plot is 22 psi the other 25psi all on pump gas.

nice setup. When do you see full-boost, like 4,500? Does it feel laggy with the 3582R?

about 4600

I don't mind the little bit of lag at all. If you roll it on it can be a little laggy but you're always a down shift away from big power. It honestly is SOO nice to not make boost partial throttle around town. I wouldn't have it any other way.

Damn, that's late but I bet when boost kicks in it hits like no other. I really hope that cams along with the higher revving block help with my powerband. I don't know if I would like 4,600-7,000...

At the time I paid a little less but its a great motor and taking the boost like it ought to. Ron's also a great guy to work with and Axis a good company he stands behind wholly.

Seneca is my hero and he is back posting for this month hooray. Good numbers. Same dyno bill put down the 395 or whatever when that was like omg almost 400. These days 400 is like the new 300 but congrats im sure its a beast. Sen no headers?
seneca
09-17-2007, 03:25 PM
Stock headers, stock MAF sizing and opensource tuning. Not bad and no its not the same physical dyno although both are Mustangs. Stock STi puts down 215-220 on chads specifically. Oh and I've been posting you just have to clink the links in my sig to follow. =P

Thanks bill and yes I shall be careful but you always pay to play and I know that. I would most certainly agree the sr55 was not only a turd, an impulse buy and a disappointment but it also never had a chance as Im pretty sure the motor was hurtin when we tuned it. Im only running 20 psi around town which should be safe enough. And yah shame was editing my post as you posted.

Your engine will be fine, just be safe yourself with all that new power.

I feel ya knocking. Not to go off topic even though this is my own thread but how your car? Caught up with Phil for a tune yet?

Trying to finish up this water injection system. I have to get a couple of components from Phil to complete my DIY hydramist system, and get them in the car. I have been pretty lazy that last 2 months with respect to the car. Gotta kick myself in the ass here soon.

wgknestrick
09-18-2007, 12:38 PM
Hopefully something in the 5s, but we'll see. It very well could make less than what I had before because you never know. I'm planning on running 30psi though. It does make me feel better about my setup knowing what a GT35R makes on that dyno at 22 and 25psi and my car was right there with yours. There have been quite a few people bashing the FP3065 for Subarus, but I am more than happy with it. I just need to get it finished before Nov 10 because my wife is due then. I wish my car was yours right now because I really miss driving it everyday.

that's the piping that comes with the ultimate racing fmic? It looks good. I know that core is super huge too, just can't really see it with the bumper on.

As you know, REALY good numbers on CB Dyno! Realy GOOD , especialy for alot of stock parts (maf diameter, headers)! Amazing. VEry good setup. The gt30 is the perfect STI turbo imo (and alot of others) but like you said, lag isnt bad at all.
seneca
09-18-2007, 06:37 PM
Thanks man!! Youre right, mustangs are pretty tough and oh dont forget stock ECU and tgvs hehe. And just to be clear its a GT35R w/ .82 A/R.

Yes Nick its incredibly too small. I was was thinking about getting something that spools closer to redline and make the BIG POWA for 100rpm.
