V8 engine swap party!!!! My Karma has come back to me!!
store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?part=nal-12499529 With the 290 crate engine, headers, intake, 680cfm quadrajet, MSD ignition, 63mm griffin rad., dual flex-a-lites, timing chain, and electric water pump at least 350HP. $900 still in the crate. I have every single part not included on the engine from my 305 which was destroyed by the engine builder. I pick it up this weekend.  Seeing as my car is already wired up and I have all the parts already in the garage it shouldnt take more than a weekend to put together. I just wanted to share the update, my luck, and the news that im gonna be having a free beer and pizza V8 engine swap meet if anyone would like to help out. Should be a world record setting engine swap.

^Yes sir, the 88 SE. Started off with a 89 Vortec 305/ T5 tranny.
Engine/ Tranny cradles are in, Custom driveshaft done, everything is there but a block. I cant wait to destroy my rear end The engine guy had my motor apart for a cam/ bore to a 355 and was hauled off to jail leaving my engine aprt on his garage floor. Unlabeled.

^Its still got the Stocker in. I have a TII and a 4:10 under a tarp in the woods lol.
Just never go around to it. Im thinking about buying a drive shaft loop just in case.

^Long story.
I started stripping and welding the engine bay today in prep for the engine slide in. Now If I could only remember what all these wires went to I would be golden. Oh and BTW, I picked up a full 5 Lug swap and BBS Mazda rims in MINT condition with good rubber for $100 at the Junkyard yesterday.
