I really want to do a factory 5 car sometime in the near future. I would say go for that, it would be a lot of fun. Building a car up from the ground like that is a great experience.

Everyone do the factory five challenge race car and then we can all go to track days and race. It'll be a lot more fun. I mean what fun is a car that you finish and then never have to do anything to and drive on the weekend. Cars were meant to be broken and crashed and then fixed and then repeat.

Twin Hayabusa powered Tiger... http://www.tigerracing.com/
hah yeah right. But it would be cool. A Factory Five kit would be reallly fun though, I've always liked them and they get PLENTY of attention from both car and non-car people.

Or you could buy my 89 Mazda Rx7 White convertable with a blown rotary and put a 383 or caddy 455 in it and blow the pants off any car in this forum for under 10k.
Its up to you though lol. PM me if interested.

Nah Rx7 is not my thing...after talking with my father (btw he’s footing most of the bill on this one) looks like we are after a 930 turbo. Those puppies can put out over 450 bhp reliably and only weigh 2800 lbs. Not to mention after all is said and done you have a Porsche 911 Turbo which means legendary handling and racing heritage. With the factory 5 stuff when all is said and done you have a kit with not much value....though building a kit would be awesome
