Speed Raceway in Horsham, PA-Great experience

I just went down to the new indoor go-kart raceway in Horsham with PCA. I had a blast. It is definitely worth trying out.
There is a 1 time $6 registration fee.

$20 per race after that. There are discounts if you pay for more than 1 race in a day. The race lasts about 5 minutes so it is a bit costly for the short amount of time. You can say the same for laser tag.

I thought I had an amazing lap time when I got 4th place out of 10 and beat experienced semi pro race car drivers and instructors. I started out the 12 lap race in last place since I was the last one to choose a kart on the starting grid. But overall, I placed the 2973th best lap time out of 9689 racers. They give you 2 warm up laps to get used to it before the 12 lap race begins.

They can also control the karts. When there is an accident they slow down the karts to around 10mph using remote controls until the accident is cleared up. The karts themselves reach about 45mph.

There are 2 race tracks inside there. I will definitely be going there often. I'm sure the owners would allow people to have meets in the parking lot if you ask.

My GoPro wouldn't stick on the helmet or kart very well so I didn't record it.
Here are some pics:

Ill be heading there soon. I have a roll bar mount for the GoPro I may try out there while I am at it. Sounds like a lot of fun there

I was there Monday for a company party. They did mention the tracks were reconfigured, but it's still two tracks.
