Mechanic side jobs
Curious to how many of you are currently picking up mechanical side jobs. I am no mechanic myself, but I have helped colleagues install specialty parts on their trucks / cars that I was very familiar with. They were nice enough to pay me a nominal fee in gratitude for all the time and money saved on their end. Wanted to engage with the rest of NJ, from an enthusiast perspective, to see if anyone else is doing something similar, or going above and beyond by soliciting more work, as it seems to be a great source of side income with the right people. Look forward to hearing some of your feedback! Jack |

I agree with you there. Without proper clauses / "terms and conditions" per say - there could be errors that are rise. Heard to determine who exactly you're dealing with. I personally vet each individual prior to helping them out.

Better Safe Then Sorry
As with any small business, even a side hustle, make sure to check you are covered for the worst case scenario. Even helping out a friend can lead to a lot of complication if things don't got to plan!
