Maybe once the "stance" and "hellaflush" movement cools off people will pick back up forums. Right now its not that hard to put on coils and wheels on a car;theyll come back once people start building cars again

don't think it's about trends, it's about about being mature and respectful. I don't blame the younger people, they follow the behavior of others, if adults can't act mature then how do we expect kids too. This leads to people not wanting to really forum a community and with that they are less likely to help another member and then there is no point to the forum since it's purpose was to share ideas and help each other.

Trends will always come and go, and people will follow them and then move to the next one, those trends i would think would help keep forums going since there is always going to be a new trend people will want to jump on and follow.

I dunno i get more willing automotive help from friends on facebook then i do here on a car forum. sad.

I have a few mustang sites that I go on pretty regularly, but some of them are also dying. It's because of the ones that act all high and mighty. Anyways...

I used to be a member of a Volvo v40/s40 forum that's currently dying as most of the members are getting rid of their cars for other stuff. That's kind of a problem with the niche forums though I spose.

The Sonic Meet was actually started by Chaz, sort of by accident through a "Sonic Cruise" he set up because he wanted some damn Sonic and there weren't any in our area if I remember the story correctly. I believe it was Don that picked it up the second year because Chaz didn't want to lead the charge and he's great at running events. TST supported the event from the start as it grew and evolved as we do with all events organized on TST. I spoke to both of them about continuing to stay involved but they weren't interested in leading which is fine.

We recognized the event as an important one for TST specifically and the local car community as a whole and were ready to pick up the reigns at that point, but Jon had already started planning year 3 and we supported that and offered any assistance needed, and then the 4th year TST led the event and has since as it has evolved and grown quite a bit, sticking with the casual meet format but also being able to handle thousands of cars with the location, insurance, trash, bathrooms, etc. required to pull that off and find a way to make it positive and benefit local children through Make A Wish. Pretty amazing how it has grown over the years which now requires a staff of volunteers who are essential in making that happen.

Since we're on the subject, we are beginning to plan for the 2014 Spring Meet and if anyone is interested in getting involved to help with that please shoot me a message. Looking for dedicated and reliable people who will work hard, and I promise will feel great about their efforts once the event is over. Lots of different opportunities to help are available so let me know what you're interested in or what you think you'll excel at and we can try to fit you in the best way possible.

Mine can't make up his goddamn mind. I'll get a text one minute from him saying what he wants me to do then, not 30 ****ing seconds later, he will change his ****ing mind, and have me do something else instead. Make up your goddamn mother ****ing mind. I'm tired of getting started on something, then having to stop that to do something else.

/rant lol.
