My Black Track SLut S14 240 *Updated Track Pics from May 30 @ Pocono*

After Dairy Queen, I went over the USP to take some shots. Took a whole bunch, as with night shots it's hard to tell what will come out, and what won't.

Car was cleaned up for once, so it actually looks somewhat shiny. I love black, especially when it reflects things off it.

Hopefully you guys like, I have a bunch more at the full gallery:

Are your tires are on backwards.? seems like they should be rotating the opposite direction.

They're on the right way. You always want the 'arrow' of the tread design (if that type of tread) hitting the ground first, as it helps disperse water appropriatly(not that these have any water ability)

Link (70% full rez) http://www.codyace.com/albums/album3..._shoot_085.jpg (bottom right corner of tire you'll see the directional arrow)

Drifty: Thanks! Yea black is a MmmmEffer to keep clean...but it's totally worth it.

Some pictures from this weekend @ Pocono North.

Car ran great, with no issues. I only run 8 psi on track, as it's plenty of power for what I need to do. Car was hitting 140 range at the end of the back stretch, if not faster. It would hit the 4th gear limiter part way in the corner (130 with the gears) so I'd be in 5th approaching the turn in. Not bad...I'd be afraid with more power!

I'm currently (still lol) running street tires, have since swithced from Hankook Ventus RS-2's, to Federal 595-RS tires...and WOW what a difference. I loved my hankooks, but they simply got greasy with good pads. These new Federals TOTALLY out perform the Hankooks, in both grip and brake ability....they also didn't chunk (figured a cheaper tire would, but man did they work well). Time will tell how many track sessions they will last, as heat cylces are what kills street crap.

Only issue was early on, I had a power steering fitting come loose...sprayed fluid all over the drivers fenderwell, but it was an easy fix. People tease me why I carry allfluids and tools...well it took my 10 minutes to fix, veruss 30-60 to drive out to get the stuff.

Enjoy!

Thanks! I was apprehensive at first, as I had a set of VOlks on order, and picked these up in the interim. After having them on the car, I fell in love with them, and ended up selling my Volks when they came in, in brandy new condition....plus it helps that these Z wheels are made by Rays, and weigh nothing as well :D

I try to keep the thing clean as I can...altough I do beat it up often :D
