I think we should start a "deal of the week" thing here on the website. Anyway I was purchasing new computers/parts for the company, and well was looking around for some monitors. A few weeks ago I bought some 17" Viewsonic monitors and was very impressed with the price and quality. I have always liked Viewsonic. Well on Newegg I came across a deal on a ViewSonic Q19WB-2 Black 19" Widescreen LCD Monitor. The original price is $209.99 with an instant $20 dollars off, then you get another $20.00 dollar's off with a mail in rebate. Also if you pay with Paypal and use the promo code "paypalfree" you get $20.00 dollars towards shipping (however the 3 day shipping is only $11.49). So total you pay $189.99 and total will be $169.99 if you do the mail in rebate. I think its a pretty great deal, for a 19" wide screen LCD. It doesn't support DVI, but great for our work setting.

no, but seriously, most high end agp/pci-e video cards with dual outputs have at least one of those outputs being dvi, so that kinda sucks. and dvi to vga adapters are EXPENSIVE. trust me, I know. I'm using two apple cinema displays that are adc connections, and i need TWO adc to dvi adapters, $99/each.

i <3 NewEgg though, it's the best, hands down. good find.

Yeah its amazing how hard it is to make money, however so easy to spend it. In the last week I have spent over 4K on technical stuff for work. Sad part is, I haven't even spent any money towards holiday gifts yet!
