STOLEN '07 Yamaha R6S (Norristown Area)

Hey guys,

I just wanted to get the word out there. My Bike was stolen out of the parking lot of my Apartment Building at some point this afternoon. I know how Bike thefts go around here and know that it's a long shot but I couldn't sleep if I didn't do everything that I could.

2007
Yamaha R6S (Candy Red/Maroon)
Smoked Windscreen with Red "TwentyPsi.com" Sticker down the left hand side if your facing the bike head on.
Woodcraft frame sliders and Swing arm spools
StompGrip on the tank.
Solo Cowl
GP pipe.....extremely loud. You can usually hear this bike from 2 blocks away.

There are very noticable scrapes on the left side (if you on the bike) from a lowside last year.

If anyone happens to see the bike please report it to the authority's. Police reports have already been filed. There was another bike stolen this morning around the corner so if you live in the area I would suggest locking them up if you have them.

My ignition was locked so they either picked it up with a truck or had a shaved key...... Watch out.

Here's the only picture I have of the bike from this year.

Here's a picture of some of the rash on the left side.

Admins if you find this more appropriate for the Motorcycle thread feel free to move it. I just put it here as the most highly trafficked area.

Thanks guys.

Like I said, I've been around long enough to know how this usually goes. I told the cop the same thing. Tis the season for people to go out thieving bikes. It just sucks that people will steal peoples stuff who work hard to have it.

I'm not expecting to get it back and if I do, I don't expect it to be in one piece. I'm just doing my due diligence to get the word out there.

You never think it's going to happen to you.

Sorry to hear man, hope it works out.

I sold bikes for years and would hear these stories fairly often. Even if you lock it up they'll just pick it up and toss it in a van/truck. The only success stories of recovery I've come across is those with Lo-jack, one was even found on a container already loaded on a ship (30 some bikes recovered).. If you get another bike consider getting it!! (no, I don't work for lo-jack ha!).

God luck man!
