Sad to say that TriStateTuners will be going offline sometime around Oct. 15, 2024. After 20 years online, times have changed and its no secret that the forum's activity level has slowed to a crawl. Its been an incredible run with so many amazing friendships formed and community events held, plus all of the technical knowledge and entertainment shared online. I know I'm not the only one who has had both their personal and professional life impacted and improved significantly from this community, and I'm happy to have been a part of something so special. Thank you to so many people who volunteered to the community -- the entire moderating team, behind the scenes IT support, those who organized events, and everyone who contributed online to this unique local car community. I hope that many years after the prime of TST, many of you are still enjoying cars even if we are all "grown up" now. Please take the time to revisit your member journal and reminisce, or browse any other parts of the forum. Maybe reach out to an old friend or two and make plans to grab dinner and catch up. The timeline may change slightly but I wanted to get this notice up as quickly as possible to give everyone a bit of advance notice. Thanks for everything, TROLL

Acebankai Tri-State Training Wheels Join Date: Jul 2010 Location: Woodbury Heights Member #16861 My Ride: 1990 S13 Hatch 5 speed KA24E iTrader: (0)	procedure for trading a car Im supposed to be trading my 240 for an Rx7 tomorrow. Now the car im trading for has no inspection. I was told by some people that if i call my insurance company and switch the cars over I can drive it home. Now the car will not be insured in my name but another family member of mine. Could I have the owner sign a bill of sale and me sign the title and drive it home with my tags i currently have on my 240? I dont want to get a ticket for having an uninspected/insured car.
