Any 24 hours of Le Mans GT2 fans?

Well, if you are? This is a pic of me with a family friend Leo Hindery who races a 455 BHP N/A Porsche 911 GT3 RSR with BAM Motorsports/Alex Job Racing/Orbit Racing. He won the GT2 class at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in June 2005 and in 2003.

How often do you get to use a big money trophie like this as an arm rest?
I had a bunch more pictures of cool stuff he had sitting around his office and of his Porsche, but my camera took a big digital **** on me today *banghead* So i'll use the interweb to help me out...

Mike Rockenfeller, Leo Hindery and Marc Lieb

The badass 455bhp N/A Porsche 911 GT3 RSR

When I get my camera working, I'll post up some of my pictures of his personal collection of toys including a stock car door from a car he wrecked and broke his neck..
He made the cover of Porsche Sport 2005 Book and gave me a copy and signed it.. Not to mention a copy of It Takes a CEO signed for my fiance in which he wrote. Now that's big pimping. Not trying to brag or nothing, just sharing a cool experience I had yesterday and I'm sure most of you guys watch this stuff too. Hopefully I get signed up to race with Porsche, j/k.. Or am I?

I got my other pictures working now.
A close up of the 24 Hours of Le Mans trophie.

All of his other trophies and helmets

Scale model of his race car given to him by Porsche, if you can see there is also a picture of him with the Clintons in the upper left too.

Stock car door from an accident where he broke his neck!

He made the cover of Porsche Sport 2005 and signed a copy for me

Hope you guys enjoyed these pics, you don't get to meet a race legend everyday. He's a great man and has been a great friend to my mother. I couldn't thank him enough for his hospitality.

Thats really cool of you meeting him. Le Mans is always a great race to watch. I still have the last two hours of this past years race to watch on Tivo. It is a shame that endurance racing gets very little attention in the states. It is some of the best racing around.

I don't know why NASCAR is so popular over here, yet you hardly see these types of races on tv. (shrug)

Great post. I'd love to learn more about this.

Keep us up-dated on his progress and the series.
