Brakes setups for HPDE (track days)
Please include pads/rotors/lines/fluid and TIRES! I'll start off with our track car, the WRX Pads: Hawk HT-10 / Hawk Blue Rotors: Blanks (with 300zx calipers) Lines: Stainless Steel Fluid: Brembo LCF 600 / Motul RBF 600 / ATE Superblue Tires: Potenza RE070 More info to come! -Gary |

Brembo Gt front big brake kit: 4 piston calipers 13 inch 2 piece drilled rotors goodridge stainless steel lines Brembo competition pads Rear kit Racing brake 2 piece slotted rotors ENDLESS pads (SS Y i thionk was the name of them, dont quote me) ATE dot 4 Racing fluid Nitto NT01 R comps 245 40 18 on all 4 what HAS failed....those rear pads i had, the endless ss y or whatev, they r mainly aggressive street and i put them on the rear thinking braking force wouldnt be too high on the rear, turned out i was wrong.......falken azenis Rt 615 255/40 18 on all four....very bad tires for track duty...best suited for autox and idiotic street driving.....switched to nitto r comps for event at lime rock and havent looked back since....buttonwillow and laguna seca are next..drove rt 615 at pocono and literally almost died at 140mph. tires went to pure goo....literally goo...after a run or two those pads are worn out now and in the trash, i have ENDLESS CC-R pads for all 4 corners now, i dont use them for the street bc thats retarded. street is hawk hps front and mazdaspeed 6 pads for rear Last edited by NOPSTNS; 09-25-2008 at 10:15 PM. |

For my Supra:
Pads: Carbotech XP10 front & back Rotors: stock Lines: Stainless Steel Fluid: Motul RBF 600 Tires: Toyo RA-1's - on my stock 17" wheels, 255F & 275R The RA-1's are used up now so I'm gonna try Toyo R888's next.

S14 240sx No ABS Stainless Lines
Front: 350z Brembo 4 piston Stoptech two piece rotors Hawk HP+ Rear: 300zx 2 piston Powerslot rotors Hawk HP+ 255/45/17 Nitto NT01 Castrol LMA Never over heats, fades, etc. Locks like a mofo if I get brake happy though. Great bite on the Hawk HP+. Enough brake power for a 2700lb/350hp car.

Nitto Neogen 215/45r17 Subaru 4pot calipers EBC reds Brembo blanks AP lines rear- H6 upgrade generic blanks EBC greens AP lines ATE superblue. so far so good.. pretty happy with this setup.
