Airbags Deployed...do I have to fix?
 The car is old and probably only worth $1,000 so it's not really worth it to have the airbags replaced. My question is can she still drive the car legally without the airbags in it? Thanks Tony

I personally don't see an issue with it as older cars don't have airbags at all. Having the airbag replaced would probably cost more than the car. Did she contact her insurance company about it to see what they recommend?
