Picture Challenge...

winner to get $50-100 cold hard cash??? Is that fair?

I need a "professional" picture that looks something like this...

...and this is a mock up of what I want, if you can take a picture just like this, please share!

The text, color not too important, needs to be visible and I need to be able to make it in the business card format (I believe they are 3.5x2). Any takers?

I'm guessing that if you have a clear light bulb, a light box, and some glass laying around, this shouldn't be overly complicated!

have you looked into purchasing stock photos? for $250 you can download 25 pics a day for a month from shutterstock.com I find it to be a very cost effective solution. But... it's just an option.

I've never heard of shutterstock, but I found this and like it...

I actually like this one even better than the pendant ones, if anyone wants to play around with taking the pictures, please do! Me saving $150 and some of you getting $100 and more practice is worth it over purchasing from shutterstock.

Hrm, I got two hanging pendents in my kitchen I could use. But that would mean I would have to PS out the background for white, which wouldn't look good my self. Are you dead set on lights? If I have a clear bulb lying around the house or at our shop I could give it a shot.

Yes, I'm pretty set on lights. If someone wants to recreate the picture I posted, that would be perfect!

I'm going to give it a try too though, light box, glass over white, and I'll see what happens.

I just tried to shoot one, but I only have white light bulbs (not see thru)

You can't make out the bulb from the background
Oh well

Oh I just remembered I tossed out a HID bulb the other day at our shop. Would of been a good thing to use, even though I think the common homeowner wouldn't know what kind of bulb it was, but they probably would of know that it was a bulb atleast. I'll have to see what I have at home here.

I'll do it for you and I can guarantee the results you are looking for. I specialize in commercial product photography. I'll get you 10-15 shots that you can choose from, and then design/order the business cards for you. If you want to work something out ($100 is fine) shoot me an email at davidwollman at blankmediagroup.com.

If you get back to me, I can have something for you in a day or two.
