30% tint in NY

I'm buying a car which has 30% tint on the side and rear windows. I live in NY which i believe is 70% legal limit, but isnt that normal auto glass? Will i get a lot of police issues with 30%? I don't really want to have to pay to take it off right away. Also does NY have the "Remove it in 5 days and no ticket" law? If im not doing anything wrong or anything will i get pulled over for it? Thanks

NY only allows you to tint the rear window all the others can be 70%.

Will you be pulled over for your tinted windows? I can't possably know the answer to that. If you can be seen inside your car by the officer more times then not you will not be pulled over for just a tint violation. BUT don't count on it.
