I agree.. Too small of a market for turbo grand am's for you to make your money back sellin raffle tickets. You'll end up with 30 tickets sold and still have to raffle it off. You'd be better off selling or parting it.

Id pay $10 bucks for a ticket...I might even buy 2.
Who wouldnt want a $20 car??? Who cares if its a turbo GA or a 91 Dodge Shadow...its a chance to win a car for $10 and is no real loss to anyone. It would all be in how you market the tickets.

Car itself is going back to stock... I do have a built transmission put in it.. I should sell the trans and put a stock one in... but It will last longer for the next person... LSD diff, accumalator pistons, High Friction Clutch plates, etc etc. not even 1k on it.
Also if i do decide to do what i said.. I'm going to make a video of me having picked a random number... along with a spreadsheet of the order of tickets bought so there is no flaming. |

bad idea.
Here are 2 options that i can think of: Option A. If you want a quick sale: Put the kit up on Ebay and go around to every pontiac forum you can find to post a link to the ad to bring more of the target audience/market to the table. Many people are intimidated with a custom kit like this. It just looks like a pile of parts and a big headache to most. Buying a complete bigname kit with instructions is nice because you know it is going to work. With your kit there will be some doubt in the mind of any prospective buyer. You have to counter this by saying in your ad that you are 100% willing to be available via phone&email if any advice is needed to complete the installation on the buyers vehicle. Option B: Put up for sale locally (this forum, craigslist, local regional section of pontiac forums, ect...) Offer to Include installation with the sale. This will give the buyer confidence in the workability of the product and will show that you care and want to see the kit put to good use. (you could prob set up this kit in a day, as where it might take someone like me a month to figure everything out...) put yourself in the buyers shoes goodluck |

Just realized this was just talking about the turbo kit...not gonna work. No one is going to buy raffle tickets to win a turbo kit for a car that not many people modify.

Yeah I would not try and sell it as a GA turbo kit. I would just make it a turbo kit and sell it that way. You will be able to sell it easier this way and probably make almost as much if where to sell it as a GA kit. Good Luck sir, DO NOT do a raffle unless you know 100% that you can sell enough tickets to make some money off the sale.
