I started playing the drums when I was 10 and played seriously all through highschool and college. Since then ive become a bit rusty, and dont get to play nearly as much as id like to--- living in a duplex doesnt really give you much noise freedom. I picked up the guitar in 12th grade and plinked around on that for a while and I have a bass somewhere around here too. Also, I was a band geek in hs and college---rocked out the trombone. (Insert trombone jokes here)

Bassplayer here...15 years. Guitar and drums for 8, but only messing around on those. Got into audio production in 1997. A 'factoid' about me for the slim chance that someone might be familiar with CKY...The first thing I ever recorded was the 'bonus' track Halfway House on CKY's Vol.1. I also recorded and mixed a side project of the singer's called Foreign Objects - Universal Culture Shock. Check it out on Amazon if you like heavy / technical music.

I also have a bunch of stuff for sale too. I am liquidating my studio.

I did the band thing for years---was in a punk band in 9th grade, a jazz/rock group in highschool and then a classic rock group in college.

I like to mess around with pianos and organs. I'm currently looking for an old Hammond B3/C3 organ, but I just don't have the extra cabbage to buy one.

I like buying used instruments to disassemble and rebuild. My current fascination is old accordians. They have so many internal parts and crazy craftsmanship, but once reassembled and tuned, the sound is amazing. I can't play the things worth a $h!t, but I can usually get people laughing when I try.

I got myself a bass - It's nothing special but its set up so right that for me it's an awesome slap bass setup. I still need to re-ground my bass, I think the group is loose as there is a lot of extra **** that resonates in the backround.

Poolmike messes with organs. :chuckle:

Guitar player, 17 years. Started playing Metallica stuff. Learned all the metal I could, but I never had the speed to be a serious lead guitar player. So I played rhythm guitar for a while. Then I found punk. Not angry, true street punk, but a little more listenable. Alkaline Trio, Millincolin, stuff true punks would consider "pop". Oh well, deal with it. I shower.
I love playing NOFX though. The band I was in last played "The Decline". 18 minutes of fun. I miss playing live. We haven't done a show in almost 3 years.

haha, here's where everyone can make fun of me.
Played violin from age 6 on, trombone from age 10, and guitar since age 12. Guitar is kind of a goof-around instrument for me since I was really serious with the violin for a while, but it's the one I play most now. I was a violin performance major for a semester but broke my left hand before school started... bummer. I'm glad I switched though, not sure I'd have stuck with it anyway.

Played trumpet/bugle for 12 years. Trying to learn guitar but it just isn't a priority right now. I have a Schecter electric.
