long tube header install on 2010 mustang

installing my headers tomorrow in glenside. if anyone is in the area or interested in stopping by let me know. if i like you i'll pm you the address haha

i don't think i'll need a **** load of help, but it'd be cool to have people around for the hours and hours i'll be doing the work

if you've got ramps, that'd be pretty sweet

swivel head 13mm ratchet wrench



will take care of the header nuts.

got an extension for a normal ratchet to handle the bolts under the car.

Don't forget to PB Blaster all the bolts on the header and collector underneath. You would be amazed how fast they rust and a broken bolt would ruin the day quickly.

Looks like a pretty easy install. Just becareful with those header bolts. Make sure you have a good socket on them and apply pressure on them while turning so you don't strip them out.

I bet your pissed you didn't wait for that new 5.0

not pissed at all. knew it was coming out. i've got a fully tested drivetrain and in 3-4 years i can trade in for a 5.0 anyway ;)

That's a pretty good write up. Help's alot. It looks like along with wobble extensions and flex head ratchets. I love using my stubby 3/8 ratchet and ratcheting wrenches they make life so much easier it tight spots.
