Diesel Truck, Turbo Timer/ Remote Start ?

My friend wants to buy a Turbo Timer for her BF's F350 and I have no idea about them to help her out. Where can she go to get one, How hard are they to install, and should she Just pay to have it put in somewhere? If so where is a good place that can do it?

Also, We where wondering if you can put a remote start on a diesel, Since you have to turn the key over and let the glowplugs warm before you start the truck.

Thanks

new trucks u can use a remote starter, becuz they are easier to start in the cold than the old ones and i dont think they really use the glow plugs unless its like -30 out, i seen an older 7.3 with a remote start and they can be a bitch to start, but honestly warming up a diesel truck by just lettin it idle doesnt really warm it up, if u have heated seats or a/c then i guess it makes sense. about the turbo timer i have no idea how to hook it up but it can be done and just google search diesel performance or diesel turbo timers. there are million of diesel sites

Get it from Banks Diesel Performance. Buddy of mine has the PDA version, and its NUTS. Reads error codes, and everything and anything else going on under the hood. Also allows for "on-the-fly" changes, by pushing a couple buttons, new maps are engaged.

I don't know that anyone makes a remote start for a diesel yet...I could be wrong. Diesel always need the glow plugs for the first cool start.

my dads duramax and my cousins 7.3 f250 has remote start, no delay either to let the plugs warm, i dont think they ever warm on my dads truck unless its freezing, im pretty sure any remote starter will work just go to an auto accesory place like street road or drivers choice
