Yeah i am pumped. I am in the process of collecting stuff for a 50's diner i will be building soon in my basement...yep, i'm fascinated w/ the 50's....I was wondering if anyone close to me gets one and doesn't want it. I would take it (for free obviously). We could meet up somewhere.

I'm trying to get as many as i can so i can lay them out on the bar area and in the shelf that would be above it.

My grandmother is leaving me a cabon from the early 1900s and a hotel from the 1800s next to bear creek mountain. I've been wanting to fix it up but money is tight. It has the origional bar, refrigerated cabinets, classes, jutbox, Coca-Cola bottle machine, cigareet machines, old cast iron stove. Its really cool and all.

When I'm older I'm gonna retire and spend my time finishing it and maybe open it part time in the ski season.

I already have a table and stools and most of the coca cola stuff from back then. I got a Seeburg Jukebox too last year form an actual diner that got flooded. I know someone who restores old stuff and he did it for me for free lol. I can't wait to get the checkered flag floor down.

I'm still looking for the old Coke Cooler. Those things are hard to find and if you find one they're like $500-1 grand +

i just got mine today....its pretty thick suprisingly. I'm gonna stuff it in my freezer and use it for a frosty beer glass

I got one last night. But i didn't know about this deal they had. The McDonalds right across the street from my dorm decides to only sell #2-#14 and only large at night to cash in on all the drunk people. I just wanted like a double cheeseburger and small fry ended up with a #2 meal. When i got the coca-cola glass me and my friend were really confused.
