Dragonfly's 90 awd Great success! and a little failure, but mostly success!
The early ons - My first car(unless you count the blazer I bought under my parents influence that i only drove for 3 weeks) was a 91 tsi awd. I bought the car with a BOV and boost controller(should have known, mega ricer) and loved it. The car was bone stock otherwise, and came with a hahn o2 eliminator downpipe as well as a full 3" exhaust(if I had known at the time how awesomely awesome and somewhat rare the hahn downpipe was I never would have let it get permenantly welded to the rest of the exhaust) After driving the car for some time with a leaky oil pan gasket i decided to do something about it, and got into the job. This was MY FIRST AUTOMOTIVE WORK EVER and if you know how the pan is hidden on an awd you know I was retarded, I had never even changed a tire before that day. However, I got it done with ALOT of help from Adam West at HighPSI motorsports. While I was in there I had the downpipe/o2 housing off(to put on the amazing hahn one) and noticed a cracked hotside on my stock 14b. So I knew a friend selling a used ebay 16g and jumped on it, again with ALOT more help from Adam I got the car together and running awesome. Over the next few months I installed a safc, a 255hp pump, a MASSIVE fmic, and an awesome electronic greddy boost gauge(I can read bar now, thats a plus) A friend offered me a trade for his stock integra, it seemed like a good deal at the time. I got reliability, gas mileage, less tickets, a slightly more baller ride, etc, etc. I have missed that car since, unfortunately he went on to melt the head like 8 days later on the highway at 140 when a coolant hose blew and he ran it until it shut off. Since then i had the integra, a turbo d16 civic, a b16 civic, a daewoo, and now my accord. Initially I was planning on buying a DSM when I sold the b16 civic, but got the accord instead. Wrong move. About 2 years ago a friend of mine was in the midst of an insane project that was hopefully going to net him a 9sec dsm. Well, a bunch of scumbags interrupted halfways through and stole ALOT of parts from both him, and most of the other cars at High PSI motorsports. This happened while he was in basic training for the army, he arrived home, and left for deployment and later bought another truly awesome dsm. I had seen his shell sitting there before, but did not know much about what was up with it. One day I was up at Adams shop and saw it sitting there, and asked him who the owner was, at the time, he was, then i asked how much. His response "100 the way it sits." so i asked "What all does it need, and whats the condition." he says "I have no idea" and I, not realizing what I had just gotten myself into, said "Sold." Fast forward 3 weeks again, and i knew the car needed a motor, shoolig was selling a fwd laser for a good price, and I have AAA+. At first the laser was bought to be a parts car, but I made a deal with a friend to trade the laser shell minus motor and rad for a awd trans, a pair of seats, and most of the interior pieces I needed. On to the project - Once i got my awd out of the corner and got to looking at it I realized I was in deep, balls deep. The car had: No interior, at all. No motor. No front wheels. No front rotor on passenger side. No front control arm, hub, or rotor on drivers side. No HVAC items(race car, remember) and a bunch of **** in the back. I bought the laser, took off the parts i needed to make the awd roll, and brought it home. Once it was in my garage i started to clean it out and get to see what i needed. To my surprise i found a transfer case, a screw driver, a sweet 12/14 combo wrench, and a Tamiya Terra Crusher r/c truck in the back. Along with all the trash. So far all ive done is get the suspension on almost legit, clean up the bay, throw some seats in it, and put a cluster in it. So, onto pics! And some parts i have together awhile. 90 awd trans before and after paint Big 16g turbo Ported 2g exhaust manifold(by myself) and a 2g o2 housing. Some random pics of the laser/talon interior. laser motor talon interior(or lack thereof) and proof that shoolig is a bare bones, Basic kind of guy. The plan for this car at the time is to get an e85 fed, 16g powered dsm running and driving before too long, and then go from there. I will update this as i work on it! UPDATE: So, today I got the motor out of the laser. That is the success. The failure is that I had to cut the boot off the pass side axle and take it apart. I was prying and prying at it trying to get it out of the trans, until the car almost fell on my leg. I was pushing on my pry bar when i noticed the car swaying heavily, and then the jackstand go up on 2 legs. Luckily it came back, and after that I just decided to cut the boost and take the loss of an axle, not my leg/head/arm. The other failure is that when I hooked up the chain I left it too long and my hoist wouldnt go high enough to clear the bay, so i had to set it back down(which was shady, at best) and take some slack out. But, now its on the garage floor, and Im home in time to clean up and get to our local meet tonight. Pics attached for you enjoyment.

Looks like a nice road ahead.
What happened to pass side front suspension, just loose, or bent?

Rob is a legit dude, so don't fear to do buisness with him; I've had more than a few transactions with him.
Otherwise, it looks good, man. What are your plans as far as turbos go?

Im just gonna run that b16g until i max it out and then go with something like an hx35. I would LOVE to get into the 11s with this car, but that is a long time, and a big wallet away, so we'll take it one step at a time for now.
