im 5'8" 162 now ~12% body fat. i'd like to be around 170lbs <10% body fat. gonna be tough though, i'll prolly have to just gain like crazy and deal with some fat then do a hard cut to get where i wanna be. just had a rest week and i feel great this week. week 5 of a 12 week program so hopefully i'll start to gain now.

let me run this by you guys....i had a serious arm injury in 2001 (snapped both wrists like #2 pencils in a very bad fall). I find that when trying to bench decent weight my wrists give out. Standard push ups even gave me problems, so I invested in push-up handles to take some stress off the wrists. This helped a lot. I can do dips, but not a full set before at least one of my wrists goes weak.

what kind of stuff can I do for chest to make up for not being able to lift decent weight? If I bench, normally by the end of set #2 my wrists can't take it anymore. My chest is one of my desired areas, so If possible I'd like to figure out something. I do pushups, but I'd have to do 100+ push ups a day to see any kind of decent result. lol

do machine flies. like with your arms bent squeezing your elbows together. great chest workout and wont stress your wrists

have you tried wrist wraps? I actually had a arm/wrist injury when I was younger so it bothers me whenever I don't use wraps..

You are not the first person who has told me that, lol.

I'd like to get to about 150 with the body fat percentage I have now. That would be more than enough for me I think, I kinda like being small.

Oh, and I had a caliper test done yesterday. According to it, I have 2.7% bodyfat LOL. I know it's not right, I just thought it was funny. This is not the first time I've scored this low with the caliper test either.

I have to use wraps for anything over 250 on bench or my wrists feel like they've been run over by a truck afterwards

I strongly urge you to get them before your next chest workout.. they make worlds of a difference.. it will only cost you a few bucks for regular ones and maybe $10-15 for some heavy duty ones, which I think I'm going to purchase also
