Remember what happened and get some new ideas in your head.

No matter the circumstance behind it, people died. As a humanitarian tragedy it will always be remembered.

totally crazy i remember sitting in math class in 7th grade and the principal came on the air and told us that a plane had hit the first tower, we turned TVs on just in time to see the second plane hit. then later news on the pentagon and flight 93. I was shocked and scared. In my immaturity i remember hoping to get out of school for this but we didn't.

Yea Freshman year of college, came back from my 8am English class and my roommate runs up as soon as I come in and tells me to turn on the TV and like a min late plane number 2 hits the town...

Sad day

I was sitting in my math class as well, and a friend of mine was runnning late, and told me and a couple of people about this... At first, I thought it was either him being an idiot, or if it was real, just a small plane, no big deal.

It wasn't until a little later when we got to the computer labs that we really saw what was going on. Got sent home early, went to a friends house, and watched the news for the whole day, seeing what was going on.

same thing here. sitting in class in 7th grade and out of no where the principle came over the loudspeaker and told us what happened. It was like the whole city was in a state of paranoia, just hoping that we wouldnt be next. God Bless all thouse who passed away for no reason, and even more the brave ones who did nothing but try to help and gave up their own lives. R.I.P.

Senior year of high school. This was crazy. There was such an airie (sp) feeling through out the entire school. Still had a full day of school and tracc practice after. All the distance runners on my team ran about 3 miles to the Brooklyn bridge, still feeling like this didnt just happen. RIP all whole lost thier lives, to all the families that lost loved ones stay up, and to all the people still dealing with the medical aftermath my prayers goes out to you and yours. United we stand Divided we fall. Remember that.

And to the FDNY and NYPD thanks for holding the city, state and country down.

I think that would be more appropriate for another thread but...
9/11... unless u count conspiracy
then that conversation would be veryyyyyy interesting

i was in math class also.
i had gone into school thinking that my mom was suppose to be on the 98th floor that day for her work.
They turned on the tv and we watched the 2nd plane hit.
all i remember is trying to call her at her work, on her phone, anywhere i could get a hold of her and all the lines were down.
we got out early from school & i just sat at home and watched tv.
My mom didn't get home until 6 that night, but those hours were the scariest.

it's hard to believe it's been 7 years.
my prayers go to all the families

8th grade, Latin class, 2nd period.

My teacher was pretty upset, as his brother was in one of the towers. He ended up making it out OK I believe.

A family friend lost his brother, and many friends in the towers, and down the street from my grandparents, two little girls lost their father that day.

I'll never forget.

^---- holy crap you're young. I was in my senior year at neshaminy.

Its funny, last year I was all ****ed up about it and this year I kinda forgot. But it's still sad that something that bad happened here, but its sadder that thats what brought this country together albeit a few years...
