blouch dominator III...should i take the plunge?

mike at blouch turbo told me 400awhp is obtainable with this turbo and supporting mods. i have catless tbe, 255 lph, blitz sus intake and utec tuned to 20 psi. i will be purchasing an aps dr725 intercooler (too big?) and bigger injectors..what else should i be looking into in order to accomplish my goal?

that turbo is not a "proven" turbo so youd be one of the first out there making sure it holds up to the claims...

what do you use the car for?

#1 what are the real specs of the turbo? housing, ar, and wheel type

#2 its funny you say its not a proven turbo since there are only 4 or 5 real manufacturers out there and just about every combination has been tried by now

that may be the case, but not every turbo has been proven on every application. this could be an awesome evo turbo but it may suck balls on the sti...

drag...and i quote"The WRX/STi Dominator 3.0R features a state-of-the-art 52 lb/min Garrett GT compressor wheel, a high efficiency Garrett GT turbine wheel, Garrett GT full ball bearing system, adjustable upgrade wastegate actuator calibrated at 15 PSI and ported turbine housing capable of delivering 520 HP at boost pressures up to 33 PSI. (Chassis dyno results repeatedly indicate 400+ wheel horsepower and torque easily attainable with the Dominator 3.0R and supporting mods)."

Ian, go with PE850 injectors, as well as a turbo inlet and boost control solenoid. that should be it for that stuff.
