Taking the Subie plunge?

Who would you recommend for a good Subie dealer in SJ? I may be joining the "my pistons go the wrong way" club soon and I want the experience to go as smoothly as possible. I just had a nightmarish drive with the Z in the snow a few days back and I decided its time for a change. I've been reading up on the 07 STI's and aside from the acceleration/hesitation issue (fixed via a tune it seems) the 07 seems like the way to go. Better gearing (no shift into 5th for the 1/4), a bit different turbo, extremely mod friendly and with this Tactrix cable/open source tuning movement I can finally get serious with a car without putting myself in the poor house. PS, I've had a hankering for boost ever since I took a ride in Huff's Rex a while back so you can blame him, though I believe it was engine #1 I experienced so I can only imagine now...

The new 07 STi limiteds have been putting down wicked power for a turboback and a tune. There is a thread on Nasioc about it.

I called one dealer for a Limited and one dealer (Cherry Hill) wanted 4k over MSRP, no thanks. I'm actually headed to Martin in T-Ville this week so thanks! I'm still debating on whether to buy now or wait until after the semester.

JMFP! What's up man?

I'm definately down I just need some time and some finances but I think it will happen. Next thing on my agenda is research an exhaust combo that won't give my neighbors a heart attack. The Z is kinda loud right now with gutted cats, Y-Pipe, B-Pipe and stock axleback. I can't get much louder considering I live on the same street as a local police officer and a state trooper.

Dude, those Cherry Hill types are d-bags. I went to the triplex for my first suby, and they didn't take me seriously. Then, once Igot the attention of one of the salespeople, he proceeded to insult my Prelude and tell me they weren't giving away free rides in the WRX. I left and went to Martin in Turnersville and drove home in my MBP WRX.

Not sure if the new Suby dealer is affiliated with the triplex, but anyway, I'm recommending Martin Subaru.

Nope the new Subaru Dealership in Cherry Hill is not associated with the Cherry Hill Triplex. They are still the same way Chris! Stay away from Cherry Hill Subaru!

Believe it or not Cherry Hill Nissan (the friendly Nissan giant, right). I was harrassed and treated poorly to the point where I got right up and left. To make things creepier, I did NOT give my home phone number but he used my name/address to look up my home number and stalk me at home approximately a week after. So I hope Martin treats me well, they have every Subie accredation and award according to Subaru.com.
