Classifieds Suggestion...

EDIT: Mods, can you move this to the feedback forum. I never even noticed it!

On some of the forums that I am on, you MUST list a price. Can we do that here?

"Hmmm, not quite what I was looking for."

"Well, a little higher."

"I don't know about that, I think it's worth more."

"I have more in to it, make a realistic price."

NAME THE DAMN PRICE.

Sorry, one of my pet peeves.

people post classifieds ads how they like too. If they do it in a way that hurts their sale it is their fault. I also like the idea of pictures and prices but somepeople argue that naming a price will rule out anyone who might offer above your price. Thus loosing profit.

So the forums are now ebay? It's an interesting perspective, I just didn't realize these forums were places for auctions to take place. There would literally be about 50 less posts in the classified ad. if they named the price up front. If they want to start high, fine. Just give a starting point. And to add to this, the MAJORITY of ad's clearly post a price, just a few of them don't. Like I said, it's just a pet peeve of mine and was ranting.
