The last one I went to a guy with a 4th gen Eclipse was telling me about his modded car and that when we went to the track he went 0-60 in under 3 seconds. I've been trying to go to meets and shows but they just aren't the same as they used to be. Especially in NJ, this area, as mentioned above is all about camber, wheels, air suspension, vinyl/plasti-dip and decals. If you don't autocross your stock car on coilovers, or drift your 240sx, there's no place for you and no one to talk to about real modifications and builds. Bummer, but on the plus side I will say that I have picked up other new hobbies, such as photography ($$$). Now I drive a '16 Jetta GLI DSG, it's nice, but as everyone says, they don't make 'em like they used too!

Like the rest of the universe, I'm confident there are just ebbs and tides here. Most of us 2000's OG's are just putting in our time as parents/professionals and in another few years we'll be back with bigger toys.

I still post here and there. If TST is still good for anything it's flaming cleanneon. I had my life together with the Miata being nicely built and looking decent, and then I got a Prius.
