When someone says, "tell them I said hey!"... Do you??

Just a random thought I had tonight. Say you're out with someone/people and you take a phone call. You tell the person you are talking with you are out with people, or you tell the person/people you are out with who is on the phone and they say,

"Tell them I said hey!"

or something to that affect. do you and if so, with what consistency? Same idea for if you're at home and your parents or whoever ask where you're headed and they say the same thing.

Nope. If they really wanted to say hi to someone they can call. It isn't like cell phones are rare or anything.
