track tech question

i have a 97 saturn sc2, that is gutted. i took the sunroof out and currently there is a sheetmetal bolted to the roof. i passed tech inspection at atco raceway, but i doubt englishtown would let it slide.

i need to know what i have to do to make it legal in the eyes of nhra. i was thinking about using lexan and just bolting it down. that is what they do for lexan windows right?

You should be fine. I know a few honda guys that took out thier sun roof and made a sheetmetal insert that is screwed in and they pass tech no problem. Also a bunch of guys have switched over to cf plug and pass tech these are sub 10 second cars btw.
