Looks like a nice glock, If I was you I would shoot one first, remember its a 45 and a smaller frame glock will have a little kick too it.

My dad has a glock 26 I think it's a small one and a 40 so I can the 40 kicks like crazy I know this will be nuts as well. But I'm only trading cause can't go wrong with a glock and I really don't want the rifle anymore! I will learn how to shot it and before I carry it or anything. If all else fails I'm sure I wouldn't have any problems selling a glock.

G30 is my everyday carry, I LOVE the gun, never had any failures or malfunctions. As said it's a .45 so as long as your familiar with the kick you'll be ok, honestly because of how slide heavy the Glocks are the recoil is reduced comparatively to other small frame .45s
And no worries about the grip either, I have pretty big hands and with the mag in only the very bottom of my pinky hangs off, this can easily be remedied with a pearce grip extension. And on to my favorite part it's easily concealed, like I said I carry it everyday and its not too heavy or uncomfortable (for me at least) and yet you've still got the power of a .45 haha

+1 for the g30 recoil not being unbearable .now the sub compact 10mm (g31 I think) is another story

The 30 is a great shooter. I shot it better than my 19.

The 29(10mm) shares the same characteristics.

thank you for the correction. I was considering the 29 but went with the 20 (fullsize) instead. Its no fun buying 10mm ammo.

the 30 is definitely a soft-ish shooter. a friend of mine had a G30SF and it was very easy to shoot. Compared to my M&P40C, the recoil was about the same. Then again, if you think 9, 40, 45, or even 10mm is difficult to control in any size or shape handgun, well then I would strongly suggest taking some lessons and developing a better shooting technique because they're all relatively soft to shoot. people bitch about recoil too much.

Mine is actually a G30SF, I had problems finding a non small frame model when I was looking but am actually very happy with the small frame now that I have been carrying and running rounds through it. And DC2 is right, people need to get more training and stop complaining about recoil.
Get better grip and stronger wrists! Lol

Picked up the glock 30 today got it for $120 plus my Walther G22 trade. Gun was pretty dirty guess from shooting it and not cleaning but didn't bother me much gave me something to do when I got home. Gun felt pretty new took it apart and found the spring was broke you will see in pictures I post. That didn't bother me to much figured I'll call glock and they will send me a new one am I right? Was just happy to find someone who wanted my rifle and I saw it as glocks are really reliable guns so why not doesn't look beat up or anything that would make me think it won't fire or anything so I think I got a deal. Could be wrong. What do you guys think here are some pictures after I cleaned it and next to my M&P 9 mm.ImageUploadedByTapatalk1336527559.331189.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1336527572.548902.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1336527589.584460.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1336527607.769491.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1336527624.744184.jpg

I noticed that some of you have/had an ar of some sort. Do you guys have and recommendations on which one to purchase and where to get one from? Im looking to get one in the next few months. Id like get some sort of idea of how much I need. I have googled and have seen them from 600 to 1100. I just want to narrow it down some.

What will be its purpose? Rangy toy? "SHTF" (zombie gun)? Something with the potential to be a serious "work gun" (something you will use hard, for competitions, etc.)?

16GDsm a new spring can be had numerous places online most of which will sell you a Glock factory part, the one you pulled out that was broken the proportion seems a little off like it may have been aftermarket but it could just be the picture, not much size reference context haha.
