I just really need some advice and what you guys think about these pictures. From the NYC auto show. I finally decided to play with photoshop a bit and just want to see what you all think.

i think the skyline pictures are a bit overdone and dont really show the beauty of the color of the car. the other ones are a bit too warm for my taste but they look pretty good. i'd like to see originals to really make a fair criticism

I didnt touch the Scion picture at all, I liked it the way it was, and all I did was contrast and brightness adjustments or filters. Thats all I know how to do, and it seems that anything that gets to crazy, just seems to take it to far and your loosing the actual picture. Thanks for the comments so far from everyone.

Forgot the bimmer

haha, I kinda do too, I just wanted to get funky with photoshop and I like the contrast on the pictures. The GTR pictures seemed to light to me with the natural color of the car.

Thanks, I like the warmth of the pictures, as opposed to the originals, but I'm still kinda stuck about if I overdid them or not.

last two are great, but number your pictures.

Orange car needs to be cropped to be center

Colors are great, saturation is perfect.

I like your title, its not distracting.

Thanks for the compliments, I am going to number them now. I did forget to do that, I knew there was something.

Not related to the post processing, but on the Scion shot, your framing is too tight so you're missing portions of the car. Shoot at a wider angle or back up so that you have some space around the vehicle. The shot was at 18mm, so I'm assuming you're using the kit lens, so in this case, back up if you can.

Thanks for all the comments guys, and yeah it is the stock kit lens. I am really looking into picking up another lens and wondering which one would be best.

Any suggestions welcome. Thanks. And yeah that black Lexus made me fall in love with Lexus and that car. Its so beautiful.

forget the budget, what kind of camera first? and it really all depends on what do you like to photograph cause that will change everything.

He shoots a Nikon D50.

How much is you budget. Under $300, $300 to $1000? Do you want zoom or fixed length? Low end kit style or Pro glass?
