So I was coming to an intersection in Fishtown and I pulled into the left turn lane. I came to a stop waiting for a car to come through and the light was yellow. A minivan came speeding through the intersection and the light turned red causing me to turn on red..

Can anyone tell me if left turns in this situation count? I'm sure the minivan was caught on camera flying through.

were you driving on a one way street, and made a turn onto another one way street

no, it was a two way street with two lanes in each direction IIRC. I had made a left on a two way street.
