**** like this makes me wonder why do i bother with this scene. And btw i obviously know i drive a ****ing neon...I have only had it for since it was brand new.....But i like it, Even more when i beat "300HP" cars with my slow ****ing neon.

I know, but I don't really want to break my transmission, so rarely do I jump right from stop, unless I am actually at the track (even so, I only ran 13.1 without a "real launch".)

I am so confused. I run 18psi in my suby all the time, one map...no adjustments. and I just said....the driver of that viper obviously does not know how to drive. so please calm down.

OMGz makes a valid point. and its basic physics really with power to weight ratio that most dont seem to get...has nothing to do with the driver if you're allready moving (unless the bastard missed a gear). a 1 legged blind man can drive a Viper from a roll. even late 90's Vipers trapped in the 110+ range and you aint doin that with 255rwhp. I dont care WHO saw you. my suggestion, keep a video camera in the car and tape it....than you wont have all these doubters.

no doubt,
I still wanna know what the srt4 does in a 1/4 mile run. just an avg to know. I remember a few friends having them in colorado, we stay pretty even on a roll and from a dig. just wondering cause the altitude makes your car (no matter what kind) a little slower.

When it was 100% stock, it was taken to atco and ran 13.9 without the spare tire and back seat or the factory sub. It has NEVER been back to the track (except for NOPI) but it wasn't ran i probably wont. Track times don't mean to me, i like the street way better. Mostly because i cruise more then i bust the pedal

This is what started the whole argument for me.

BTW, I used to smoke vipers at the track all day long with my neon. 500whp running 30psi with a fully built 3 speed auto pulling 1.7 60's all night. Trust me, if the right things were said about the Cav I would be the first one to believe. I used to love suprising people, but 300hp with a huge sound system doesn't do it for me.

That was my other point, On top of the weight of the cav stock he's added lambo doors (heavy hinges) HEAVY wheel's, Audio which ways a ton and who knows what else. Im not knocking it saying its not quick for what it is, i just dont see it being VIPER quick.
