The exhaust manifold and all but one piece of the tin is back on. Thanks to Ryan at 1320 for tapping it for my egt sensor.

The donkey dick is still not on the car since my dei turbo wrap has not arrrived yet.

The car has been on the lift for a month. I was trying to find someone to weld the bung for my wideband on it.
Ryan at 1320 did the job and as you can see it turned out great.

Once the turbo wrap comes in the donkey dick will get rewrapped and strung with stainless wire since I have bottomed it out before.

More pics to come.

Brake hoses. Make sure the sway bar end link bolts are at least grade 8. I can't tell you how many of thoe I have broken, and it's a pain in the ass trying to find the spacers....

Nah, the black ones are the speed sensor wires for the ABS.

Jealous at the red?

The brake lines are SS manufactured by Techna Fit they have a red outer sheathing.
The quality looks great but I still have not gotten a chance to drive the car. As for the
sway bar bolts they came with the Hotchkis bar so I would hope they used a strong enough
grade. I'll be checking later to night.

Update on the minor things I am doing while I wait for the turbo diaper to come in.

Running Autometer Phantom gauges. Wideband, EGT, Oil Pressure

Using an angled center pod manufactured for autometer (atleast they say so)
It didnt come with instructions just 4 screws and dimples in the corners of it.
I screwed it into my stock clock piece and hated the way it looked with screws on my dash.
So I got some epoxy from our body shop glued the damn thing together and filled the holes
with 2 coats of body filler.

Finished it by sanding the whole pod with 500 grit sand paper.
It is now getting coated in Plasti Dip. First coat looks good so one or 2 more should finish it up.
Finished pics to come.

I am also replacing the stock head unit. The cd player took a **** on me and I just can't stand the
radio. It was a real easy install and perfect time to do it since I'll be running the mess of wires behind it
up to the gauge pod. Everything should be mounted up and functional within the next couple days.

Thank you crutchfield for the wire harness and filler pod, but your shipping prices suck.

Goddabob's 02 WRX Gauge Pod Trouble

I epoxy the center gauge pod onto the top of the factory clock thinking I
could do away with screwing it to the dash. Everything was going good till
I tried to pop it back in place. The front fits perfectly flush. The back sits up
about 1/2 a cm. Does anyone have a trick for these pods to get them to sit
flush or any ideas. Sorry no pics till the weekend

Gauges are all hooked up inside the car. I only have the oil pressure line to run under the hood waiting for a part to come in from the dealership.

3m 2sided tape solved my mounting problem for now. I think there will be problems when summer comes.

The radio was a cake walk and came out very clean.

Last the camera mount. Thanks Cizin for the review, I have not tried yet but will probably film from here.

I got a deal since I work at the company. It was a price they wouldnt have sold to anyone else for and normally
stuff this nice does not stay. Aka insurance companies take away the cars. But for ****s and giggles.
I got the car for $2000 and prob put $4000 with all new parts and paint work.

Lucky yes, but their was baggage or bull**** I had to deal with at the time to get the car.
But it all worked out and I am happy with the car. Not happy with fastwrx.com nobody seems
to be able to answer the phone. After a week of calling I am cancelling the order and now
putting the car back together.
