thanks for the comments guys.

yea the fan switch is in the car now lol ...it actually melted on the way to NJ yesterday. i was stuck in traffic driving a stick while holding 2 hot wires together so i wouldnt overheat

Nick you can build your car to multi task without a problem. theres no reason you cant have fun with grip and drift all with the same car

Idk who the instructer was, I just yelled to the group of them and one came over lol

and yea, they're all about hating on the drifts LOL

there was a turbo miata all stripped down basically to the unibody. probably one of the nastiest and quickest cars there, and he did nothing but drift the whole time ...haha

you dont really need anything... just make sure your car is not leaking or smoking too crazy, make sure the battery is secure, bring a helmet...

people have recommended south jersey scca to me over philly scca because of the seat time factor. I only got 3 runs that day, but people tell me you can get like 10 runs at a south jersey event

lol eddie next event we should head up. Your first time on a track, is an instructor required? The rules seem kinda vague and im up earlier than i should be.

no, instructors arent required. this vid was my first time at an autoX, and I forgot to grab one for my first run lol

I've heard all the talk about how much you can learn from riding with one, so I grabbed one for the second run ...and honestly, he didn't teach me anything I didn't already know. Ofcourse my lines could have been a little better, but its not like I had the course memorized from a walkthrough... and ofcourse i could have kept the back end in a little more, but with the welded, giving it a little drift helps to overcome understeer and get the car to rotate...

Besides the few things I mentioned earlier, you just have to have all loose items taken out of the car, even floor mats, and you have to write your number on the side of your car somehow lol

... I dont know if ill be going back anytime soon, but maybe. I dont make enough money to spend $50 on 3 runs through a parking lot too often. It was definitely fun, and id love to do it all the time, just not enough seat time for the moola
