I have gotten alot of emails on this one both ways.
I would have to say based on the information I have found that since they are not DOT approved you could get a ticket but I do not think most officers would if you were wearing them when you are stopped. Since like me they 1. may not know that they are not approved or 2. not really care since you are wearing something. When ever you mod your car your taking a chance that you may get fined for the modification.
