They are gonna most likely be the fronts. My car does the same thing. I need to either get new ones or get them cut down.

agreed with above^ If they are not too bad you may be able to get them cut so get them checked out.

well usually if u feelt he vibration in you streering wheel its the fronts..if u feel it in the ass of your seat the usually the rear....wheel vibration can also be caused by loose tie rod...my mom had that problem...i threw sets and sets of rotors on her car to later find that the tie rod was loose the whole time

Only at braking right? Likely warped or Badly worn (or cracked even) rotors, or pads that are worn down to the metal backing. If you just had a recent brake job, I would start looking at your Tie Rods for bad bushings or looseness. Another thing to check ( and it happens) Water in the front tires. Or the Front wheel bearing will do that too if its bad or going bad. You wont always hear the noise if those are bad had that happen more than once. But start with the brakes, Check the pads first, if they are ok, Then its likely going to be the rotors which may not be able to be cut.

Oops, forgot the part where you said only while braking. Nope, not balance!
