We have seen a growing need for a solution to running out of MAF sensor signal on many of the turbocharged cars that we see here at R/T Tuning. When you get into larger than stock turbos on the Subaru WRX and STI one of the first hurdles you need to overcome is the voltage ceiling of the stock MAF in a stock diameter tube. With no real good solution on the market we went to work on these 3" aluminum MAF tubes that can be integrated into the intake system of any Subaru WRX or STI as well as many other cars that use the Denso style MAF sensor. The 3" OD tube is 5" long and can be worked into just about any piping configuration with the appropriate couplers and clamps.

These sensors allow more room on the MAF sensor for accurate air metering into much higher levels of airflow. Perfect for those big turbo cars! This same sensor tube has also been used with great success on some turbocharged Scion TCs here in house and even works for many other Toyota applications.

Maxxing out the voltage range of your MAF sensor is a very dangerous situation for today's high performance turbocharged motors so let us open up that safety and performance envelope a little further with one of our R/T Tuning MAF tubes for only $89.99 each.

Just had to install on on an Sti this week...was maxing the MAF out on the dyno, swapped in a "R/T Tuning Big Maf" car was able to stay on the dyno and finish tuning same day with out any down time to the Customer...

yea, they work well. Donet really seem to need them for many app's but the mazdaspeed 3's are really sensitive to air flow deviations...
