new to NJ from Columbus, OH

Hey all, just moved to NJ a few months ago. My '91 MR2 died on me in the middle of the road - battery had a dead cell - two guys in a Scion xB stopped to help me push it off to a church parking lot. They told me about this forum, thought I'd check it out.

I already put together a post with pics and specs, but I guess I can't post links until I have 3 posts under my belt -_-

MR2 introduction

Hey all, just moved to NJ from Columbus, OH.

Here's my '91 MR2. And my bike.

Specs:
About 90k miles, 2.2L NA 5sfe, cold air intake, tenzo-r seats, momo shifter, removed side markers, updated sound system and head unit, aftermarket engine lid and "snorkels". Stock rims and tires for now.

When I bought the car almost 5 years ago, it looked like this:

After a Hot Import Nights show in Columbus as a tribute to the previous owner, I decided to tone things back a few notches...

Used to TSD rally, would like to get into AutoX or RallyX at some point. Would also love to drop in a Gen3 or later 3sgte, but I don't have the skill to do that myself. No rush.

Thanks.
Vents x 1000 because it's air cooled, right? And I had to make up for the hp I lost removing all of those stickers...

The fiancee landed a job here, and since I've been mostly contracting - making me the "flexible one" - NJ it is.

It would be great to check out some of the local meets, maybe learn a little more about what kinds of motorsports you guys are into...
