Why is Meth more popular on Subies than on other cars?

The question is the title. Me and my friend were talking about it, and we couldnt figure it out. So why does Meth injection have so much popularity in the wrx/sti community, but not so much in other car communities. What is it about our cars?

i know in the cobalt community, well the supercharged ones, its a must have for anything under a 2.9" pulley. the heat created by the blower is crazy, meth numbers on cobalts have produced nice results, meth is in alot of car communities, some are more out there, seeing as you have a Subaru, you may only see the subaru side of things(from being on the forums, etc.)

Meth is pretty big in forced induction in general so when you have a car like subie with stock turbo's and tons of rooms for upgrade meth just seems to follow shortly behind....Ive seen a bunch of Scion's use meth and I myself have a kit waiting in to be installed....

I always thought because the fmic setups have so much piping that it makes more sense to go with a bigger top mount and meth where most cars can just drop a bigger front mount in. That's why I'm going with meth at least.

personally, its because Subaru's make **** for power..... plain and simple. Take a 4g63 for example... you could take a dump on the motor and it would magically make 30whp. With Subaru's, you forget to change the oil at 3k and it loses 50whp... damn things are stupid yet soooooooo much fun :D

Its not more popular in the subaru community. If anything srt4 guys have had everyone beat for a while now.
I've also had mine setup for a few years now.
